Who they are

Community Board 3 is the local board for the East Village and the Lower East Side. Its members are volunteers appointed by the Borough President and our Council members.

Why we are writing to them

On October 15, the CB3 Parks Committee endorsed the worst of all options, which closes everything, for everyone, for two years. The full board votes on October 27. Board members care about the community. Let them hear from the people who use the park.
